Several years later, in 1946, the designer founded his namesake brand on Avenue Montaigne, Paris. It all took of from there onwards.
Today, the company designs apparel and accessories, including sophisticated eyewear. The well known haute-couture tradition is kept alive and thriving by a separate division, named Christian Dior Couture. John Galliano, a long time designer for the brand, has left his mark on the Parisian fashion house.
